According to the motto "The best before the curtain!" the Zeitschrift für Finanzmarktrecht (ZFR) and the publishing house LexisNexis will award the "ZFR-Award" for the promotion of young scholars.
The prize will be awarded to the author of an outstanding dissertation who was admitted to an Austrian university between October 1, 2019 and October 31, 2020 to obtain a Master, Magister or Doctor of Law degree.
"We are pleased that the ZFR will again be awarding a prize for the promotion of young lawyers in 2020 and that we are able to provide support. We are looking for outstanding dissertations in the fields of Austrian or European financial market and/or capital market law," says Dr. Oliver Völkel, LL.M., founding partner at STADLER VÖLKEL.
The ZFR Award is endowed with a cash prize of Euro 1,500 and includes the promise of publication of the approved dissertation by the publishing house LexisNexis.
The deadline for submissions is October 31, 2020.
