Statements like "Great product. I would buy again!" or "Clear purchase recommendation!" everyone has certainly read on the internet at least once. Product reviews play a major role for many consumers when making a purchase decision. Unfortunately, it is also part of the (online) reality that companies sometimes "shop" positive reviews. The Regional Court of Hamburg recently dealt with the question of how such reviews are viewed from the perspective of competition law.
