Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies in the Framework of the Legal System
28. March 2018 @ 18:00 - 21:00
Despite the increasing use of virtual currencies such as Bitcoin in everyday life, various legal questions in the area of private law have not been answered yet. Thus, business practice is often accompanied by the principle "ubi non accusator, ibi non iudex" ("Where no accuser, there no judge.").
On this occasion, CONSIGA & Partner consulting GmbH, together with Stadler Völkel Rechtsanwälte and Markus Leitner, invite to a lecture held by Oliver Völkel on the topic of "Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies in the Framework of the Legal System". The event is taking place on 28 March 2018 at AULA x space, Georgigasse 85a, 8020 Graz/Austria. The lecture and the subsequent open discussion will provide an insight into the treatment of derivative acquisitions due to legal transactions and the use of virtual currencies as collaterals.
