The new edition of the "retail" magazine of the Austrian trade association was published yesterday. The main topics of the magazine are the changes for retailers through digitization, business models based on the Blockchain and new challenges of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In his interview for the magazine, Arthur Stadler focuses on the new GDPR obligations, which will come into force on 25 May 2018.
Stadler Völkel Attorneys at Law and the Austrian trade association have compiled a detailed GDPR guideline for Austrian traders. The guideline will be uploaded on the website of the Austrian trade association in a few days and is intended to help Austrian traders to break down barriers of the DSGVO in a focused manner.
