Burning legal and regulatory issues surround Bitcoin & Co: What needs to be considered from a consumer perspective? Which information obligations, which withdrawal and cancellation rights apply? What’s the current state of play in Austria when it comes to “Cashing out” cryptocurrencies into fiat money? Is Austria’s banking sector well prepared? And what tax aspects must be considered? Stadler Völkel Attorneys at Law in cooperation with Enzinger Steuerberatung, Bitcoin Austria and smartBlockchain.at invited to the event “Bitcoin & Consumers – Protection and Information” on 29 May 2018 at 6.30 pm in the Festival Hall of Sigmund Freud University of Vienna, Freudplatz 1, 1020 Vienna.
